A car crash can happen in the blink of an eye and can result in only minor effects or have long-lasting consequences. No matter the level of severity of a motor vehicle accident, the importance of receiving proper treatment and compensation when involved in such an incident is important. Alabama drivers, motorcyclists and pedestrians face the possibility of a car accident every day due to unforeseen circumstances that can result in anything from personal injury to death.
Such was the reality for six people in two cars--one with Alabama license plates--that were involved in an auto accident in Georgia recently. One of the cars changed lanes and hit the side of the other vehicle, pushing it off the road and into some trees. Each car had a driver and two passengers inside. The three people in the car that changed lanes were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
The car that went off the road was from Alabama and contained three family members--a female adult driver, male adult passenger and 13-year old girl. The teen was found dead inside the vehicle while the two adults were thrown from the vehicle but survived. Both were taken to Atlanta Memorial Center where the woman is in critical condition and the man is in stable condition.
Medical expenses, pain and suffering and more can all result from a car accident and leave victims in need of compensation. If you or a family member has been involved in a car crash with minor or catastrophic injuries, including death, you may wish to consider speaking with a lawyer experienced in this area of law.
